Built for clients who deserve better than jargon.
Everest Laws was founded in Kathmandu with a clear purpose: to build a law firm that treats clients as intelligent adults. Too many people in Nepal either avoid legal help entirely because it feels inaccessible, or engage lawyers who leave them more confused than when they started.
We built something different. Every client gets a clear explanation of what will happen, how long it will take, and what it will cost — before we start. We don’t bill by the hour to keep you guessing. We fix our fees wherever we can, and we communicate proactively so you’re never left wondering.
Our practice covers the full arc of legal life in Nepal — from company formation and commercial contracts to property transactions, immigration, family matters, and court representation. One firm, start to finish.
Four principles we never compromise on
Straight answers
We tell you what will happen, how long it takes, and what it costs — in plain language. No hedging, no vague estimates, no surprises.
Fixed fees
We quote before we start. Fixed-fee packages on most routine matters — so you know the cost before you commit to anything.
Steady updates
You never have to chase us. We update you proactively at every milestone — even when the update is “we’re still waiting.”
One team
The attorney you meet is the attorney who handles your case. No hand-offs to juniors. No disappearing after the first meeting.
The attorneys behind Everest Laws
Sanjay Pradhan
Sanjay has spent 12 years at the intersection of Nepal’s commercial courts and its growing startup ecosystem. He advises founders, multinationals, and investment funds on company formation, M&A, shareholder structures, and regulatory compliance under Nepal’s Companies Act and FITTA 2019.
Before founding Everest Laws, he served as in-house counsel for one of Nepal’s largest conglomerates, giving him an insider understanding of what businesses actually need from their legal advisors — not just what looks good on paper.
